Well, we are expecting a BIG crew in Georgia for Thanksgiving 2008! Here are some thoughts. All are welcome! We have a decent amount of space and can accommodate a good deal of folks. Not sure how comfortable you will be, but you are welcome to any beds or floor space we have. We have 14 or so spots available on couches/beds that are comfortable for sleeping. We have around 7 other rooms available for air mattresses. Privacy will be almost non existent in some of these rooms. If you are interested in extreme quiet or privacy, I have put together a list of hotels all within 20 minutes of the house. Peachtree City is 10 minutes, Fayetteville and Newnan are 20 minutes. You can choose if it's worth the extra 10 minutes based on rates. The only spots that we have reserved is for the Arizona folks, since they will incur a decent amount more in traveling costs than the rest of you. The only others I would like to reserve a spot for is my single ladies! So the reserved list would be G-Ma, Mom (Trudi), Toni, Bryan, Beth, Grace and Bradley. Call us or email us with any other thoughts, suggestions, or questions. We can't wait!

Wow! Thanksgiving and Christmas went by way too fast. I thought I'd be able to keep the website updated with all of our pictures, but we've taken so many. For Thanksgiving, we enjoyed a visit from Ben's brother, Tim, his wife, Gretchen and their three boys Will, Riley and Bennett. We always love for Ben's family to come visit in Georgia. For Christmas, my parents were able to be with us....I know...how did we ever get my Dad to leave Florida for a few days :-) We spent Christmas Eve at Philip and Jeannine's and got to watch Maddie, Reagan and Owen open up some of their gifts. This year, Christmas was a blast for us because we got to enjoy Luke opening his gifts. He was in awe over Santa and couldn't wait to see what he was going to bring. Libby, on the other hand, just thought it was another day. Ben enjoys getting me "funny" presents, so you'll see a picture of my "funny" present this year...it has to do with Luke potty training and Libby spitting up everywhere. One of my favorite pictures is of Luke...he has his scooter gear on and he's playing with a McDonald's cash register (I know, that can be pretty dangerous). He's still enjoying all of his presents. His favorite thing right now is being a cook. He pretends to cook and take orders ALL the time. This might have something to do with me watching the Food Network. I've also included pictures of Libby when she turned 5 months old, and her and Luke in her crib. He loves his baby sister. I hope you enjoy the pictures.   Andrea
We've added many pictures to the website. Fall is our favorite time of year with lots of things to do. Football has started...Go Redskins!!! The festivals and corn mazes are open, and we've already been on 3 hayrides. I'm sure we'll have a lot more to add in the days ahead.    Enjoy!!!   Andrea
We had a family vacation last week in Salvo, NC with Ben's family. This was Libby's first beach trip, but most of the pictures are of Luke, since all Libby does is sleep. They were great on the airplane, and they had a fun time with their cousins. We did miss Billy and Beth's families at the beach. In the pictures you'll see Libby's first time at the airport, Luke's first time flying a kite, Libby's first Redskins game on the couch, one of Libby's first smiles, and many more of cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandmothers. Hope yall enjoy! Check out some pictures here.   Andrea
I've started using Google Reader for my RSS feeds. Pretty sweet free tool from Google. If you're not into RSS, you should be. Check out what I'm reading about here here.   Ben
Luke is loving Libby. Who knows how long that will last. Probably until he realizes he will have to share toys with her. She is doing great, check out some pictures here.   Ben
Praise God! Libby Kate is here! We'll update more pictures/videos tomorrow. Check out the first picture set of Libby Kate here.   Ben
We busted Luke, again... This time he had gotten to 11 peaches. Check out the video for more details.   Ben
We think we've Jedi-Mind tricked Luke on the bed routine. I now carry him up the stairs while Mommy holds his hand. That seems to pacify him enough to get him up the stairs. More videos to come to the site. I've finally burned a CD of videos to a disk to bring to work to upload to the site. Check back soon!   Ben
Luke is loving his mommy recently. He'll have nothing to do with Daddy recently on certain things. Mommy has to change all diapers (yipeee!), kiss most boo-boo's, and carry him up the stairs to bed. I think he might be sensing a change coming with sissy.   Ben
The training continues. I think I have him in tip top shape. Check him out here. Thanks to GiGi (Grammy) for the uniform!   Ben
Luke is going to be a big brother to a little sister! We just found out today (3.12.2007). We are excited about our new addition.   Andrea
Luke, out of no where, started singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". We've been singing it to him since he was a baby. I guess he was listening! He also knows "Jesus Loves Me" and most of his ABC's. We'll post video's of all of them soon.   Ben
I've decided to go "live" with our website a little early. It will probably take a me a little bit to get all the pictures and movies going, so I didn't want to just leave it blank until then. Check back often, I'll be updating photos and movies as soon as I can.   Ben

Luke is a talking machine. His funniest current thing is saying Chick-fil-A. He loves to eat there and play on the playground. Listen to him say it here.   Andrea
